There is no mirracle: money talks also on the wine market. The current wines priced between 12 and 60 euros.
Our first bottle, the 2006 Torres Salmosa was an extraodinary start. Mineral oil. Decret, spicy jam in the nose. Full-bodied, black chocolat and spicies, to hand-made desserts. Long creamy and tobacco ending.
The 2000 Bock Cuvée was a step back after the super strat. A joiner work scent, plastic character. A Baywatch consciousness, one-night haeven. We appreciated the silicon tits for 80 points.
The 2003 Familiy Schroeder Saurus Pinot Noir shows 0 variety character, but the blind testre did not know it. Fine, dried fruits in the nose, than coffee and cognac character. Black pepper and chocolate.
The Bacalhoa Anfora 2003 was a black butter in the cup. Forest fruit jam, Chocolat-cream. Maybe the trends of wine world go in the direction of sophisticated, lighter tastes, but we cannot give up prurience.
Chateau Desmirail first (Grand) wine was a bit disappointing. Maybe the pure, powder- and chocolate-free Bordeaux cuvée is just like this, but in the big noise we could not hear its message.
At last, the 60€ Braida Barbera d'Asti landed on 2nd place. Animal, overripe meat scent. A blackthorn answer, but what was the question?
